PICK Basic Programmer Analyst to provide programming support of an
RS/6000 Information System. The system is a complete distribution and
order fulfillment system written in PICK Basic for the Unidata DBMS.
It includes both on-line and batch order entry modules, pricing and
contracts, inventory management, charge-backs, shipping/inventory
management, Quality Control, and Accounts Receivable with extensive
interfaces to and from external systems. This individual will work
daily with members of the Support team and will be expected to convert
requirement specifications into usable system functionality. This
position may require after hours and weekend support. Qualified
candidates should possess experience with Pick type database and Pick
Basic in a Unix environment. Experience with RS/6000 and Query
Language/Ad hoc Reporting, good communication skills, problem
resolution, and advanced program debugging skills. Additional
qualifications include a minimum of three years of experience as an IT
professional, experience with AIX/Unix utilities, System Builder,
InfoFlo, and HostAccess. Helpful soft skills include strong customer
focus, background in any of the following areas: Order Entry, Pricing
and Contracts, Sales/Marketing Reporting, Shipping/Inventory Control,
Accounts Receivable, Quality Control, EDI, and Warehouse Management.
