Default Physician Practice Management Software? - 08-05-2005 , 06:37 PM

I know I may get swamped here, but I'd like to know who is actively
providing and maintaining practice managment software.

I have a site who's a part of a group of associated organizations, and
they have access to a lot of physicians. They're facing migration
from a small D3 app written in TPH to a small MS Access app. We
haven't ascertained which is better and I'm wondering if it wouldn't
be better to get their Access sites to migrate to MV.

I'd like to propose discounted services for this TPH/Access work if
they will introduce us to practices who may need a management system.
Anyone interested? Details will be provided as required.

I'd also like to find someone who does TPH work and/or who can provide
some TPH (or OpenTPH) training. I never planned to do anything with
TPH but somehow the topic keeps coming up and having knowledge and an
available resource may be helpful. Southern California preferred but
not required.

Thanks much!
Tony

Tony

I worked with some MV medical billing/practice software in the late
'90s.

I believe the company was in San Mateo and was call BIS (Business
Information Software?)

I'm checking my old emails from that period, and if I find any more,
I'll let you know.

Good Luck

Thanks Doug. When I posted this I figured the MV market is flooded
with practice management and medical billing software. Did everyone
migrate to Cache'??

I have to apologize for the convoluted references in my OP. I am not
looking for TPH software, in fact I'd prefer that a practice
management package NOT be written in TPH. I'd like to find an app
that's well written and suitable for conversion to a GUI if required.

Really, as long as the app is fully functional and easily
maintainable, I don't care what it's written in. I'm trying to find a
company that will want to partner for opportunities, I don't want to
maintain their code, only sell good software.

Thanks again to anyone reading this.
