I'm certainly not one you need to convince that futzing around with
something as generic as printing is a good idea.

This doesn't change my feelings about PCL in general which is
occasionally referred to here and in other MV forums as a common
solution to many printing issues - not just a necessary evil and relic
from legacy systems. So sue me for picking the wrong place to state
an otherwise IMO valid observation.
