Default [OT] For those who know me... - 09-16-2005 , 03:09 PM

Since several of my friends frequent this group, I thought I would make an
off topic announcement concerning my new situation. I am now the IT Manager
for Airtechnics, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas. Anyone want to buy a nice house in
Cedar Hill, Texas?!?!?!? *grins*

"Hi" to all my friends!

L8r all,

lmao@ hoarding....

Airtechnics is a VAD (value added distributor) of electro-mechanical and
interconnect parts, primarily for the aerospace industry. The natural place
for such a business is Wichita! So, to answer your question, no...no
manufacturing facility here, we just get hard-to-get or high demand parts
and kit them. As for what I do here, I'm the IT Manager and we user and old
and highly modified version of Prelude on D3 running on AIX.

Anyway, glad to hear from you!

Hey dude, that's great news! If I was moving to TX..... Well, you know. I
think you're one of the few people I've not corresponded with much, after
Spectrum LV. What are you going to be doing there, besides hoarding the
red staplers?

PS: I know that Gene Buckle would love a familar contact that can get his
hands on used or refurb avionics. <G> Especially old 4" circular displays.

Is there a manufacturing plant there? If so I'd like to find out where to
send a catalog.

Prelude, eh? I'm connecting dots and one of them leads back to Chuck.

Congrats bud. I'm really happy you have something that matches your
skills!

Thanks Tony. Good to hear from you! Yes, the dots lead back to Chuck and
speaking of that, I was working on a long term full time contract at Neiman
Marcus with one of Prelude's very first employees...a guy by the name of Tim
Rayborn. I believe he told me his employee number was 3!
