Off topic, but a lot of pick users could find this handy
to avoid scraping / shredding self-adhesive printer labels;
lighter fluid lets you rub off the text, provided only that
the printer uses powdered toner instead of inked ribbon
or thermal paper.
Works a somewhat on solid toner printers too,
but just smears it around instead of blanking the area.
I wonder if it works on InkJet printout?
Totally useless on vendor logos preprinted on the box.
A big black marker doesn't work well enough -- you
can still read the text if you hold it at just the right angle
to the light.
There may be some sneaky chemical way to overcome
this, but is good enough to permit casual viewers of the
touchy material. |
