Default OT: DBMS vendors attitude - 11-11-2005 , 02:08 PM

That's what I've found in the microsoft.public.sqlserver.dts NG:

<quote>
If you live outside of the United States or Canada we want to know more
about your experience learning about SQL Server.

How did you initially learn to use SQL Server? What are your preferences for
learning about new features? What can we do to make SQL Server easier to
learn and use?

Send email to wssinfo (AT) microsoft (DOT) com to obtain a secure code and link to
participate in a survey. Complete the survey for a chance to win a portable
MP3 player. Please note the survey language in your email: English, French,
German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, or Chinese
Traditional.

Can anybody imagine something similar here or at the RDTA/U2-controlled
forums?

I can imagine a lot of things, Nick. What's your point? That this survey
is silly?
Or that nobody in the "Pick" world bothers to survey the developers?

Yes, I mean the latter, that Pick vendors don't care of their developers.
