Had been using dynamic file for source code
looked for "type 1 file" its there all works
absolutely perfectly - more plainly.

What a fantastic product openqm is
why use anything else for your multivalue needs.

Thanks anyway.

QM is happy for source code to be in either a directory file
(equivalent to UniVerse's type 1/19 files) or in a hashed file. The
same applies to include records. The compiler output, however, must be
in a directory type file because of how it is accessed when loading
programs into memory. We have long had a project on the wish list to
allow hashed files for the object code but there has never been a
business case to do it. Maybe one day....
