and I understand are optional in USA & other parts of the world.
Still, this is a great film clip to try & get people to belt up

Mandatory across Canada.

Great commercial. They used to have a few good ones broadcast around
here, but haven't seen them in years.

Nicely done. Gets the message across without being preachy or
relying on dumb slogans.

Here in the "Run With Scissors" State you are required to wear
your seat belt ("Click it or Ticket" -- ouch) in the front of
your pickup, but you can legally sit in the bed of your pickup.
Where, of course, there are no seat belts to wear.
