I have a friend who has two restaurants and is planning an expansion to
several more (franchises). He has some software which is "pretty lame" in
his words.

Do we have some Pick developers who do complete restaurant packages, or are
we talking custom work?

eateries. It has a touch screen front end (using Visual Basic) for
entering orders ; utilizes Crystal Reports for the back end Reporting
functions; has built in credit card authorization and processing. It
runs on d3 in a windows enviornment. We have been in the POS market for
quite some time, and have several multi unit or "chain" accounts. We
have written all of the package, and can customize it to suit
indivitual needs if necessary. .....not trying to run toooo much of a
commercial here

a complete restaurant system available in D3 and Unidata.
