mvBASE running within Active Directory -

Hi all,
I hope some one may be able to through some light on a situation we have.
The company I work for have in the last year implemented a global Active
Directory structure.
Now everything was fine for months after the implementation. But when the
support guys enforced restrictons on the local sites administration user
that we use, we started haveing a problem with
1) no being able to start the mvBASE server service
2) when logged in as our network administrator we can't even open the mvBASE
admin utility.
For starting the service we get error messages of insufficient priviledge
error trying to start ( with an error code 5 )
mvAdmin - mvBase administrator can only be modified by a user with admin
priviledges
The admin user we are using is used on all our servers for the starting
services for other products and we have no issues at all.
Only mvBASE seems to have this issue.
I have added the admin user to the local admin group on the server but again
this has not helped.
The only way I can currently start the mvBASE service is by using the local
administrator but this is not ideal for me!
Does anyone have any thoughts or had a similar experience.
I could really do with knowing what mvBASE does to qualify it's security and
exactly what priviledges are required or the Admin User
Sorry this is a long winded one
Thanks
