Default MV in Chicago? - 02-11-2006 , 01:26 AM

An old friend of mine is moving to the US for two years starting in the
middle of this year, and was hoping to find gainful employment, full
time or contract, in the Windy City. She's an MV A/P of many years
experience. Why Chicago? Her husband has taken up a position there, in
an unrelated field.

Can anybody offer any suggestions as to where she might start looking?
Recruiters, body shops, software houses or end users she might contact?

Any advice appreciated, except possibly from Dan Fisher <g>.

Luke

She might try contacting Bob Markowitz at jbase, he's in Chicago.

Also the Chicago John Thompson if anyone has his email.

Luke, I still consider Chicago my home even though I'm now residing in
sunny southern Cali Fornia. If you can tell us more specifically what
platform experience she has, and app specialties, then we might be
able to hook her up with the right people. She can e-mail me a CV if
she wants.

I'd just like to say thank you to all of those who responded either via
this group or via email. I've been quite overwhelmed by the response,
and I suspect my friend will be hard-pressed following up all the
potential leads on offer.

Thanks to all. You guys are the best!

Luke
