Just curious,

Is there some kind of DBA (or any other) certificacion from RD for
developers?

Regards,

There should be. MVDBs need to formalize to bring some legitimacy and
respectibility to this technology, IMHO.

Who is in charge of the MVDB market? Raining Data?

Regards,
Danny

I got a heavy "Apocalypse Now" flashback from this thread.

IBM? They an IBM Certified Solution Expert -- U2 Family Application
Development
That's a lot of words to put the resume, it seem. Perhaps you can put
an abbrev behind your name like IBMCSEU2FAD. We could ask the U2 User
Group to work with IBM on broadening it for the MV industry as a whole,
perhaps?

In all seriousness, this is an
excellent idea... although it
reminds me of reupholstering the
deck chairs on the Titanic.

"There are a total of 79 questions.
To pass this exam you must score
62% or greater. You will have 90
minutes to take this test."
Not the most stringent exam, IMO.
I imagine you might _not_ care to
hire anyone who fails this exam,
though!

Wasn't there a 'Pick Professional' certification that could be obtained
several years ago?

Dale

Yes but it was run by JES. Jon sold the company to RD
and I've heard nothing of it since. I hadn't heard of
it awhile before the sale.
