Default Mike Preece -- can anyone contact him? - 12-28-2011 , 03:58 PM

I do not think I have the rights to add moderators to the MultiValue list, but I am sure it was Mike's intent to establish that as an alternative to cdp (in 2006) and I am guessing he would happily turn over the ownership to Tony. I do not have an email address for him, however, and do not know if he still reads cdp. Anyone know?

I ask because I think that MultiValue is a nicer name than MVDBMS for the group and because there are already quite a few people signed up -- at leasta basis on which to build. Does this make sense to anyone else or would you all prefer that we use MVDBMS over MultiValue as the google group? In anycase, please contact Mike if you know how or pass me an email address if you have one. Thanks! --dawn

Too late to change, Dawn.
Mike just posted yesterday. He's reading...
Thanks.

Thanks. Good deal. I tried to catch up, but must have missed it in my search. Is there a chance that you guys could figure out how to use MultiValue (a word-like structure) instead of MVDBMS (an awful acronym IMHO) as the google group? --dawn

Thanks Mike. I guess I do not know the origin of the MultiValue group and it appears that Tony has mvdbms off the ground, without too many folks concerned about whether or not that rolls off the tongue. I was hoping someone would step forward and hand the MultiValue list to Tony before this got too far down the road, but at this point it looks like we are rolling.

Thanks for your work on this, Tony! --dawn
