We are in the need of some guidance. We have a very old version of
UniVerse database running on HP-UX 10.20.

We're trying to migrate this database, along with its application, to
a newer HP-UX 11.23 PA-RISC server. Our system administrator is having
difficult time launching and logging into this database on this new
machine.

Could someone out there who is very well versed in UniVerse
administration and HP-UX, offer some hints, advice or suggestions on
how we can get database system running?

I wanted to thank everyone who responsed to my posting. I think we
