Default looking for Wintegrate Scripting documentation - 10-06-2010 , 09:38 AM

Hey all,
We have several processes that run from a TCL command on a server.
each of these sessions in wintegrate are started manually on a server
reboot etc. I am looking for a way to script each of these to start
automatically, and kick these off without a bunch of admin/user
intervention. the documentation that comes with Wintegrate is pretty
weak (unless I am not seeing the right stuff) Does anyone have any
experience with doing this? And does anyone have any pointers or
documentation that would help?

I don't know which MV product you are using, and maybe I don't quite
understand the sisue, but if using D3, can you not just add these to
your coldstart / user-coldstart ?

Agreed.

Assuming you really do need to type stuff at TCL, I'd recommend taking
a look at AutoHotKey (AHK). It's a FOSS scripting utility for
controlling any function in Windows. (It would even be a good
solution for Jeff and filling browser forms.) Your investment of time
in AHK will be rewarded with the ability to script anything, not just
your MV system, and not just wIntegrate.

For various form-filling requirements I also use KeePass which is
intended to eliminate the need to remember a hundred ID/passwords for
as many sites. I also use PhraseExpress. Again, either of these can
be used for Jeff's tasks as well. KeepPass is FOSS (contribution
recommended for commercial use) and PhraseExpress is free for personal
use but should be purchased for commercial use.

Hi,
I am not sure why would you waste sessions to run applications in the
foreground when you can use phantoms, see Z and ZH verbs.
