Default Java/JavaScript Programmer for U2 - 03-12-2007 , 01:15 PM

U2logic the developer of the RedBack replacement middleware called
U2Weblink™ announces an opening for a Java programmer. Since our
middleware is based on the open source json-rpc from the www.json.org,
JavaScript programmer experience is required too. This individual
must have 3 years Java programming experience. Our free tools called
XLr8Editor, XLr8Object Editor, XLr8WebDeveloper, XLr8ObjectEditor, and
XLr8Resizer are totally based on open source Eclipse; experience with
that environment is a plus. Unidata/Universe experience would be
helpful but not required.

U2logic offers company paid health insurance, 401k and individual
offices for employees. Please contact me via email at
daverch (AT) u2logic (DOT) com and send along your resume.

Could you please refrain from adding the idiotic (and unneeded) tm marks on
an email? Thank you.

You don't see 'em in "normal" magazines, newspapers and emails sent by, for
example, me, do you? They are prevalent in press releases (and magazines
which slavishly copy such releases), ads, and anything else vetted by
paranoid lawyers.

I object to them for the same reason as the ubiquitous "it's" for "its"...if
you like well-formed writing (to borrow a phrase,) tm, reg and other symbols
have no place there.

I'm surprised you actually clicked it without an explanation of what it
was.

Serioulsy though, there really _is_ a bit more to life...

Ah, yes, like worrying about the time change?

I'd say that if more people worried about aesthetics and less about
efficiency we'd all be better off...

Hi
I can thoroughly recommend the book "Eats, Shoots and Leaves". I must admit
that I caused a look of concern on the face of a young assistant when I
inadvertently asked for "Eats Roots and Leaves". Punctuate as you will and
you may comprehend the Aussie version of the joke.

(For those who are not "local", this is the diet of the Kiwi (New
Zealand) and also the Kangaroo. For those in Texas/USA, I believe the
"aggie" may have similar digestive characteristics)
