Default InterSystems Cache MV Overview Class - 12-18-2006 , 02:03 AM

Several weeks ago, Joe Gallant at InterSystems posted a notice about a
*complementary* three day training session in Cache' for MultiValue
developers. I, along with several colleagues, took them up on that
offer last week.

Posting for myself, I wanted to report back to the group that the three
day class taught by Joe was excellent. About a third of the time was
spent on how MultiValue is implemented within their multidimensional
Cache' database, how to use that data paradigm from MultiValue, how to
implement Classes and Cache' Server Pages, etc. with MultiValue Basic
and so forth.

I would recommend this class to anyone interested in this new offering
in the MultiValue product offerings. It is well worth the expense
dollars.

And if you take the class back in Cambridge, MA, make sure they show
you where the fancy coffee maker is in the Developer area. Dynamite
brew.

Clif

It looks like we will be doing the same thing on the US West coast in
the New Year and probably anywhere else that sparks enough interest.

It makes a lousy cup of tea though.
