Looks like I'll miss my connection and end up sleeping in Minneapolis
tonight, but the good news is that that the Orlando airport has
wireless. We are boarding soon, they say, but I'll give a quick
impression.

This might have to do with the energy one gets from a conference like
this, but I am really excited about MultiValue within Cache'. They
seem to have done an excellent job in setting up for folks to convert
from other environments to Cache, for example, and then make use of
some features that I was drooling over. 24/7, really! and the
recovery capabilities, scalability and performance, security, and what
I think is a satisfying implementation of SQL/ODBC/JDBC for MV as
well, with excellent peformence through ODBC/JDBC too.

I'm particularly pleased with their Zen offering for AJAX and eager to
get my hands on it. It works with MV out of the box, it appears. In
addition, I just love the company. They actually like their product
and their customers and want people to adopt the product and enjoy
working with them! I love the energy that brings to the mix.

I'm sure people will want to understand more about just what this
whole Caché/InterSystems thing is about, so I've already written a
three article series for Spectrum Magazine explaining Caché,
InterSystems, and their MV initiatives.

Since it will take 6 months for those three articles to appear
(starting in May), I intend to start blogging summaries and technical
details, leading up to and supplementing the articles. (RSS users, if

the bottom of blog pages. Registered visitors can also subscribe to
receive notification of postings to specific categories.)

It seems the more people learn about this the more they want to know.
I have enough of an understanding now to provide some insight into how
all of these pieces fit in a business and technical sense. Rather
than waiting for the information to flow on a time-permitting basis,
