i'm telling you now
i liked coding on dictionaries making them interact
it works well on universe
i beleived in standard interfaces i'd spend hours taking parameters out
of subroutine statements if i could kill them it's easy
you've got to be sure of what you're doing
and get the symbol table out of the object code and lowercase all your
variable names that's possible i've done that
it's easy
most importantly be very sure of what you're getting involved with some
software requires totally rewriting
be sure to go outdoors and stare at the sun now and again it helps
remember you always get solutions to software problems in the shower in
the morning and not late at night
try not to take your work home with you every night
if they give you a network connection try not to use it leave it
isolated from your main system
if you need data for testing by all means copy it off their system but
remove the names and addresses contact details
