Congrats on the new arrival. |
Thanks.
<Major snippage>
Thanks for the help Simon and everybody else. I now have this working
exactly as required.
In short, I create the required HTML in Pick Basic, export that to the local
machine (using Accuterm) and then launch IE and display the recently
exported HTML page (also using Accuterm).
The page includes a call to FCKEditor (as recommended by Tony) and using the
FileSystemObject, I've created a button at the bottom which writes the
amended details back to the local machine, closing the IE window in the
process. (There's also an "Exit and Don't Save" button too which just
closes the IE window.) Accuterm waits for the IE window to be closed and
then attempts to read back the updated item. If it exists, it uses the new
details to update the record held in D3.
All in all, exactly what the client was looking for.
Thanks ever so much to everybody for your help.
Quite literally, I couldn't have done it without you.
Regards
Mike Wooding
