Default High school admin software - 10-24-2005 , 03:28 PM

I'm looking for a multi-value based high school administration software
package that includes scheduling, attendance, grades, transcripts, etc,
etc, etc. Anyone know of such an animal??

Thanks in advance.

Quinte Computer Services (QCS) in Belleville, Ontario, Canada had a
very good package, but I'm not sure it is still maintained.

I know that it was quite reasonably priced.

Contact info at http://www.quinte.com/.

Maureen Trip is the person at QCS that you would want to deal with on
this.

I can't name them but there is a very large school system in the USA
that runs on D3. I don't think they'd be willing to sell their s/w as
turnkey, but they may be willing to serve as a referral for the
technology if that would help your cause.

I believe there are a number of open source web-based projects for
this vertical application. I don't want to change the vision from MV
but existing offerings deserve consideration.

If you are in the USA and have a project for a government agency
(including public education), or you have software that you believe
has application with Homeland Security, FEMA, etc, let me know. We
might be able to help with getting and fulfilling government
contracts.

Not sure if any of that helps...

Mark,

You may want to try Keystone Information Systems in South Jersey. Here
is there link:

http://www.keyinfosys.com/

I worked in their offices for one of their clients (not related to
their software) many years ago and still know a few people over there.
I can't vouch for their package, but I know its been around for at
least 20 years.

Good luck,

Rick Weiser
