Many thanks. At us very much love holidays. Earlier, people lived difficultly and consequently any opportunity for "improvement of mood" was used. When Old Russia began to use Julian calendar instead of Gregorian a difference between them there were 13 days. People has taken advantage of a case once again to drink. At us it name "Old New Year". Orthodox use an old calendar, therefore Christmas January, 7. Real New Year 31dec/1jan "Old New Year" 13/14jan (To drink and work) Grigory. |
