Default "Free" multivalue line editor - QED - 06-24-2006 , 10:40 PM

I had written an R83/D3 "like" line editor QED, as I could never get use to
ED in Universe - I missed the prestore commands mostly. I talked about this
in a prior post.

Over the past few weeks, I got carried away and added many, many
enhancements. Many of these came compliments: Tom Hoogenboom & Bill
ollins - primarily to support MaVerick.

For those of you so inclined to use a line editor, it is freely available
at: http://www.tom-phillips.info/

Most comments will be appreciated, especially if you can suggest an
enhancement, improvement or some change necessary for another multivalue
environment. Most appreciated are those describing a bug. I'm good - but not
yet perfect.

Thanks in advance,
Tom Phillips

Witness my spelling of "Bill Collins".
My apologies.

Tom,
Superb. Swapping between D3 ED & QM ED has been a small headache up to
now.
Not only consistency, now, between the 2, but all the features that
I've been wanting for years.
Many thanks.

Geoff

Thanks Geoff - to my knowledge you will be my first QM user.
Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
My goal is to provide a tool for as many of the platforms as possible.
My reasons are purely self serving.
I want a single editor everywhere I go.
It's been my 30+ years of experience, that the better the editor, then the
more productive I can be.
Oh yes - I added an FTP download site the other night (see instructions on
my little site's main page).
Regards, Tom...
