Default Flavors of PICK - 09-24-2003 , 03:00 PM

Hello for all,

I already used R83, AP, AP-DOS, AP-FOR and D3.
I want to obtain information about other flavors of PICK.
I already had information on U2, Jbase, MaVerick, Reality, Revelation,
mvBase and mvEnterprise.
Do other flavors of PICK exist?

Thank you.

You might be able to find a real old copy of pcMicroReality. I lost mine
years ago, but I loved it. You could do selects of DOS directories from
within the shell. Nifty piece of work at the time.

I don't know if any of these still exist or not, but there used to be
licensees for C-Itoh, Nixdorf, Mentor, Ultimate; there was an implementation
by a group in Chicago for an IBM mainframe (4330 I think); there are still
IBM Series/1s out there; and RTs in service in both AP and OA.

Ultimate = Honeywell Level 6, PDP-11 clone, Digital Vax board and wasn't
there also a unix version towards the end?
Sanyo/Icon, HP 3000(never released to the public),Fujistu and then the Intel
clones.

What was it, Evolution, that beat Ultimate out the door?

Helped install some of both.

Cleber's probably interested in current systems only, but gosh, how
could y'all forget the Climax?

Ok, that's a new one on me. Is it still current? Sounds exciting.
