Can someone explain how the PRAGMA syntax works in Flash Connect?

The reason I ask is that I have a JAVA programmer who is designing WEB
pages, and when the DATA is pushed back to the WEB (w3HtmlInsert) it
always ends up with the additional text. The RD help on this is of no
use, it just states how you can pass a variable, but doesnt explain
why.

At present the JAVA programmer is writing CODE to remove it from the
transmission received, but in an ideal world it would'nt have been sent
in the 1st place.
