That's a fine collection of material, Alan. It would be nice if
someone in the UK could take it and work out the final disposition
later.

As I look at the list it occurs to me that on one hand we have a
(perceived?) major lack of documentation resources for newbies. On
the other hand we have lots of old material floating around that's
still fairly current today. It's a shame we can't figure out a way to
link the supply to the demand, update the old material in an open
medium like PickWiki or NuWiki, and then make it available to the
public for some pittance which is remitted back to the original
authors.

I've posted most of my ideas in CDP over the years and they've all
been shot down. Unfortunately though, we see our little world only
gets smaller, and it will continue in that direction unless people
just vote for some plan and run with it - doesn't matter which one.

The fundamental problem is that effort requires funding and no one
wants to fund effort. Everyone leaves it up to some other idiot(s) to
waste time, and they'll only take interest if something comes out the
back end. In the mean time the market shrinks, though people can't
seem to relate cause and effect. Funding can be in the form of cash,
software licenses, co-operative effort, purchases of updates, or other
creative exchanges, and it need not be painful for any individual or
group. Whatevah...

(Tying the knot and kicking the soap box out from under myself...)

BTW, Alan: 'Boston' is a program generator written by a guy named
Vladimir. I have a copy here as well but I've never loaded it.

What's happening with Gazetteer? (Sorry if I already asked and
forgot.)

My best,
Tony

Hello Tony,

You are right.
The majority only speaks also does nothing. Recently even conversations
became less.

While I have forces and hope, I'll continue ( as an outstanding idiot
.

Thanks You for Your help.

Regards,
Grigory
