Can anyone tell me definitively which Fedora core will work with D3 7.4.2? I tried cores 2 and 3 and both crash with a segmentation fault at line 401 of D3_setup while running ./instal_pick $LIBDIR $FSIINST Thanks. |

I have D3 7.4.0 running on FC2, but we could not get FC3 to work with either 7.4.0 or 7.4.2 (see thread in RD D3/Linux forum). I did read your thread. Did you get a segmentation fault when you installed it? I get segmentation fault when it runs ./instal_pick. But if I cd to / and run /usr/lib/pick/instal_pick /usr/lib/pick, it'll get to the install menu and then crash later. This happens on both FC3 and FC2. Finally I settled on RH9 with 7.4.2 which is not supposed to work either but it loaded without a problem. If you could let me know if you got the same error on FC2 and if so, how you worked around it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
