I have UV 10.0.14 with AIX 5.2 and I setup an f-pointer to a unix directory: ED VOC IFILE 3 lines long. ----: P 0001: F 0002: /u1/INTERFACE 0003: D_VOC Bottom at line 3. ----: Whenever I do a LIST and the directory contains a file that has a size of 30+ MB or more I get the error: LIST IFILE CRITICAL ERROR! Notify the system administrator. Abnormal termination of UniVerse. Fault type is 11. Layer type is Query. Segmentation fault(coredump) But, when I have a file size of 26MB or less Universe is able to display the file. Is there a setting in UniVerse that is preventing me to display files larger that 30MB? Thanks. |

It may just be a memory limitation. Remember the @ phrase in the dict of voc probably is trying to display fld 1 & 2 so try LIST IFILE ID.ONLY and see what happens Rich Froy Oxciano wrote: I have UV 10.0.14 with AIX 5.2 and I setup an f-pointer to a unix directory: ED VOC IFILE 3 lines long. ----: P 0001: F 0002: /u1/INTERFACE 0003: D_VOC Bottom at line 3. ----: Whenever I do a LIST and the directory contains a file that has a size of 30+ MB or more I get the error: LIST IFILE CRITICAL ERROR!
