There might be one problem. I've been resizing since I doubled the database and now the DM is giving me messages that CPU is exceeding 25%. The rate is still in the twenties. Is this something that I should be concerned about? Does 18 GB D3 database require a better processor than a 1.12 GHz Pentium 4 with 2 GBs of RAM? Thanks, Danny |

That's just syschk blabbing away. Either disable syschk or set the parameters to something realistic. Douglas |

Douglas, So why is the default threshold set so low? Is it abnormal for a D3 database to generate more then 25% utilization? How do I set the threshold? Why is it set so low?? Who knows? All I know is that whenever I do an upgrade or install and forget to tweak syschk, I can guarantee a frantic call from the users the very next day. Personally, I just comment it out. ddspell-m3 wrote: Douglas, So why is the default threshold set so low? Is it abnormal for a D3 database to generate more then 25% utilization?
