Hi,

I need to create a Universe dictionary to navigate a number of records
within the same file and display them in a parent / child list e.g.

CEO
MGR Finance
Accountant 1
Administrator 1
Accountant 2
MGR Information Systems
Engineer 1
Engineer 2
etc.

The records within the file contains details on each position
Each record within the file has a field containing the direct superior
for each position.
Each record within the file has a multivalue field containing the
subordinates (child) for each position

Any assistance would be appreciated

the will do close to what you ask for. You would to capture the
output and reformat the text slightly to give you the indentation that
you are looking for. I did this in D3 with a list of sub-assemblies
that were the components of major assemblies.
