Login to the UV account and enter CONFIG If device licensing is enabled, there will be a line at the top (line 4 or 5 from memory) that will report 'Device Licensing is in effect' If you do not see device licencing message, device licencing is not enabled and nothing more to do, else continue. If device licencing is enabled, then on all wintegrate session enable device licensing as follows: Setup->Preferences->Options and check the box for 'Enable Device.....' Save the settings, logoff then logon. HTH Barry |

May depend on which platform? Not sure it is available for "workgroup" versions, is it? Barry, I this is what I get when I type CONFIG. It looks like I don't have device licensing. Next question is how to I set configure device licensing? Do I have to purchase something from IBM? |

Do I have to purchase something from IBM? To add a bit more meat to Bill's response, to get device licencing activated you will need to speak to your IBM VAR about a new licence that will enable device licencing. You most likely will need to part with some bucks; evaluate the differnet licence models and do your sums carefully. HTH Barry |
