We have a D3Linux with 100 users and 230 open ports. Our problem is
that the system takes 40 minutes to make a power-off. Anyone know what
could be the problem?

The problem is in D3. The problem is that D3Linux takes several
seconds to close each line. In a similar Windows system takes a few
minutes. In the last off we use "power-off (u" and the system was shut
down in about 3 minutes. We will use SHUTDOWN (Y in the next shut
down.

then execute shutdown.

to be sure that this is the problem, start the virtual machine and
with out logon any users, make shutdown. you can see that the wrapup
are too much faster.

Antes de ejecutar shutdown asegurate que en todas las lineas se ha
hecho 'exit' en vez de logoff.

Para estar seguro que este es el problema, arranca la maquina D3 y sin
que se conecte nadie, ejecuta shutdown. veras que la desconexion de
las lineas, en vez de durar segundos por cada una, es casi
instantaneo.
