Hi All, We are setting up a VPN so that our sales people can log in to the system. The problem being encountered is that once the connection takes place, if the user is idle for a moment, the connections times out and gets disconnected. Accuterm is the emulator that we use. D3 run on Windows 2000 and the VPN is being supported and set up by the phone company Bell South. Is there a particular setting or something that will prevent the user from timing out? Thanks for the advice, Louis |

Luis, There is a 'keep alive' option buried somewhere in the AccuTerm setup. It works just for what you mention. It's under the second tab "2 Connections" then click the "ADVANCED" button on the mid to lower right. Larry, I was thinking the same thing, except he said they would disconnect after a few moments of inactivity. I'm guessing this has something to do with IP address leases or the VPN. "Homer L.
