For those experiencing VME loss and haven't been able to stop it with the
well-known EXIT on DCD loss there has been an action item filed by Robert
Burke.
The exchange from the Raining Data forums at

Issue:
I have been monitoring the VME loss on several servers running D3 7.4.5 and
discovered a cause of the memory loss.
If you remotely logoff a port (a user on port 5 types LOGOFF 10 at TCL), the
memory reserved for port 10 is not returned to overflow. I'm assuming this
happens if you DEV-REMOV the port also.
I noticed this when I was logged off after selecting a large file. The POVF
dropped by 200 frames.
Robert's response:
I am also seeing this here on the support systems. I opened critical action
item 31396.
My comment:
If anyone else knows of any VME loss issues please report it to Raining Data
and get an action item opened. It helps everyone.
