Default D3 ProPlus Printer Setup Problem - 10-12-2006 , 01:17 PM

I have D3 Proplus 7.2.0 (on linux) and had to reload my server. After
reloading I setup a printer using PRINTER-SETUP and choose to have the
printer start up on coldstart. When I submitted my first print job it
did not print. I went into the PRINTER-SETUP and viewed my printer and
it was there. We attempted to delete the printer and it said it didn't
exists and then would logoff the port of the printer number (in this
case printer 0). Can somebody please help me.

Here is some of the information you might need to help:

The printer is connect to a parallel port on the server, and should be
printer # 0. When I do an SP-STATUS, printer 0 does not show up.

:SP-STATUS
The spooler is inactive.
Printer # 1 is serial, inactive, and on line.
The printer is running on line 22.
Assigned output queues: 1 .
The number of inter-job pages to eject is 0.
This is the information from the PRINTER-SETUP (Listing current
printers)
Type Number Output Queues Skip(b/a) PIB Details
Parallel 0 0 3 5 (0/0) 23 lp0
Parallel 1 1 (0/0) 22 lp1

USER-COLDSTART
001 N
002 SET-BAUD 1,19200

Thanks,
Walter

This thread was discussed back in March dude!

A link was provided there to a potential solution.
I take it you're still having issues?

Yes, this was discussed and I'm still having trouble (I couldn't
append to that thread). I tried all the things in that thread. I also
included more information of the problem in this thread.

Thanks,
Walter
