G'day! Anyone out there with any experience integrating Microsoft Office Project Server (MSOPS) with D3 (or I suppose mv in general). Not looking at doing this work ourselves on the Project side of the puzzle (note: this is project SERVER, not 'ordinary' project, so backending into a SQL Server database, but will need some "stuff" done for Project Pro (ie: the user interface). I'm looking for people/a company that HAS DONE this - I know that we 'could', but I'm looking to fast track something if possible. Please contact me directly (rossf) @ stamina.com.au |

Tony, snip If I have no other takers, we may well be talking .... detailed spec will start to be developed by a seperate team closer to the client next week, and this is likely to take 6-8 weeks |

Yep! A "real" detailed spec --> obviously NOT being developed by us, but rather a "Microsoft Business Partner" in Perth, engaged by the client .... who strangely enough (once we got into the "project") don't have anyone on staff with detailed Project knowledge As to that "wrong" word, I think that Tony & I (for once?) would agree that there is more than 1 way to tackle virtually any problem these days - each with their own relative merits. My current leaning is towards the scripted/Macro solution, as it works with an abstracted view of the project data, and remains largely unchanged at the core between releases (their is a new release of MSOPS due out next year). [snip] |
