[Will D3/Linux 7.4 run on RedHat 7.1 ? It was made for RedHat 9.0] I'd guess 'no.' |

I wonder if RainingData has started sweating about what release of Redhat they'll recommend after 9.0 goes unavailable... I can't really see them publishing their own distro, or marketing a D3/Unobtainium product... |

Unavailable and unobtainable? Where do you get that? RedHat did have a webpage up which explains the Enterprise (for fee) version vs the Fedora (for free) version. They just took it down today, no idea why. I'm sure RH will formalize it's plans for the future and all of the vendors including Oracle, jBASE, and Raining Data will announce their positions for the future. I suspect everyone will just build over the most supported release and pass costs down to the end-user. Try this link http://fedora.redhat.com/about/rhel.html for the Fedora Project vs Redhat Enterprise Linux comparison "Tony Gravagno" <g6q3x9lu53001 (AT) sneakemail (DOT) com.invalid> wrote in message news:07uiqvg1lvvob0ms9578pgcplu175m8fhd (AT) 4ax (DOT) com...
