Default D3 Linux 7.1 - ODBCSR command missing - 01-20-2011 , 04:31 PM

Good day
I have a client running D3 ver 7.1 on Linux - The ODBCSRV command
seems to be missing.
Is there anyone that can help me with a copy (of the command)?

Thanks
Marc

???? I thought that this was installed in the /usr/lib/pick directory
when D3 was/is initially installed? The "command", as such, is
actually issued from Linux, rather than an MD entry in D3 (or so I
thought, anyway)

Thank you for responding - appologies for the delay.
I see the odbcsrv.o file is there - but I cannot execute the command
(message - command missing)
Is it possible that the installation did not "link" the command.
My Linux skills are not that good - how can I create the executable
version?

Are you checking /usr/bin/odbcsrv and that is what you invoke

that is where it is put

the .o file sits in /usr/lib/pick

Hi John
I don't have the odbcsrv file in /usr/bin/
The only odbc prefixed files in this directory are odbcinst and
odbctest.
Is reinstalling D3 the only way of getting the command back?

Thanks
Marc
