How often should a full backup/restore be done on a D3 7.4 system?
Does it really help with speed or is it more of a refresh of bits on
the disk that helps to keep down GFEs?

How about a refresh of ABS? Should that be done as well?

Also, on AIX if I have available PPs can they be added into the
current LP for the D3 partition or does it need to be created as a new
LP and then added as a second disk in the pick0 file? (I hope I have
my PP and LP straight, it always confuses me as I don't muck about
with them often).
