to extinguish 'lorenzo'
csc took over glasgow IT to 'manage' the mess reti and his scottish chums left
the system was barebones -- vast -- malfunctioning
the system was just arev -- painted screens -- they could have done it themselves
I was training them to use AREV
but no
karl reti had lost interest gone -- there were queues round the block when
I arrived at western General - secretaries -- rows and rows at clinics terminals
all sat doing nothing
the system a mess and as slow as to be unuseable
ICS gone -- reti gone -- what software he had managed to sell after that was
malfunctioning -- he wasn't interested
ICS didn't do anything with clinics they sold as much as they could until
the NHS got disgusted enough to stop buying off them
the money didn't go anywhere and they were singularly responsible for the deterioration
of service overall
that thing that THING ran an entire cities health
it could have been so good - but companies like ICS - iSoft they aren't interested
in delivering solutions
they are here discussing implementation of systems (screens from a database)
I could have given them the facility to do that
for instance the lab system the operator could program to interface with any
lab equipment
what a f*cking joke |
