| Thanks, John. My previous contact with UniVision was Bob C who is now at Revelation, so I'm pleased to know someone else there. For starters -- what does UniVision call their flavor of DataBASIC? |

I find it interesting that Revelation call their version of 'Pick' Basic BASIC+ ( Basic Plus ) because that was the name that DEC used for their version of Basic under RSTS/E and VAX/VMS - and I was a Basic+ programmer long before I was involved in the MV world. That does make me begin to feel a bit ancient - but we still used card sorters and card punches when I started ! |

I often wonder how different life would have been if I had stayed on that path... And a card sorter? Ha! We never had such luxuries. T |

Hi Dawn. If you visit my website and take a look at the article entitled: * Dialects of Basic http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/mbpublish/d.html#d213 you'll see a list of some of the names for the MultiValue programming language which I have referred to. |
... and before you ask, at * Dialects of Access http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/mbpublish/d.html#d212 there's a list of names for the query language. |
If you want to correct, add, elaborate any entries at my website, or make any suggestions for information that you would like to see there, please email me directly |
Regards Malcolm Bull |
