We have an in-house developer who's using ColdFusion to create a web-like front-end for supply order entry to a D3/AIX 7.3.x legacy materials management system. The goal is to create an on-line 'shopping' process using our intranet. The developer has been trying to link back to D3/AIX using the C27 ODBC client. The ODBC Host was activated, seemed to work for awhile, then apparently stopped. We restart it, works awhile, stops, etc... Anyone have experiences - good or bad - to share using CF via ODBC to D3/AIX, or . . is there a better way to do this (FlashConnect? something else?) |
