call to http server

Hi,

What would be the best way to make a http call to a server to get
information? This is on hp-unix and universe.

I believe there is an entire chapter in the UniVerse BASIC manual about
"Using CallHTTP".

If properly setup, you can query a web page and get what you want back.
You might have to do a bit of parsing, depending on your needs.

If you use cURL your code will work cross-platform and I dare say a
lot better supported.
