Hello All,

It appears that an official GPL release containing the full suite of
tape utilities might be a while in coming so I have posted a new
tarball of the openQM 2.2.0 release on my unofficial page:

The tape suite is now installed in the qmsys account so it doesn't have
to be downloaded and installed separately.

Also included:

A bug fix for the vexing Backspace in BASIC INPUT routine.

The default DOS path default has been replaced with a more appropriate
linux path.

Gentoo init support is now included tks to Jon Kristofferson and Dave
Walker

Simpler installation procedures for Debian, RH, YDL and Gentoo (y'all
using others are welcome to contribute).

A DEMO account pseudo tape is included. This account contains the files
from the openQM tutorial (Book Library) and is included to demonstrate
the ACCOUNT-RESTORE functionality as well as providing a non-qmsys
account for testing.

P.S. Thanks to the hard work of Dave Walker and Andy Pflueger we now
have working models of both Python and php4 wrappers for qmclient so
watch for modules for one or both of these languages soon!
