I made an inquiry for you with one of my VAR/clients. We have a large
end-user site that uses devices for scan and data entry, then the
devices are brought back to a central location, plugged into a
keyboard wedge, and all data uploaded into D3 for processing using
whatever program interface you want.

The device knows what to collect because the admin can easily program
it through a Windows interface for various applications like doing a
physical inventory or checking pallets going on trucks. Info on the
