Default Ashwood Computer Company - 03-22-2006 , 11:07 AM

I won the drawing for the **SUMO Computer KURO Box with OpenQM from Ashood
Computer's Spectrum fishbowl! It arrived yesterday. It's no bigger than my
Seagate external 200GB USB drive that I use for backups (yes, I'm a techie
who backs up his data!!). It runs Gentoo linux and is PowerPC based. Kind of
cool for a tiny thing!

I connected my crossover cable to it, change my laptop's IP to be in the
same IP range, fired up both machines, applied some "PuTTy" <g> and it ran
as advertised! I look forward to playing around with it and getting
acquainted with **OpenQM!

Thanks, **Ashwood Computer Company, Ladybridge and Sumo!

** No advertising solicited by Ashwood, Ladybridge nor Sumo to make this
posting. This is strictly me saying, "thanks!"

you a BIG jar of Vegemite for it !???

Are you implying that a BIG JAR is a health hazard ;-)

No..... That's Peck's Paste..... Nothing like Vegemite.... At least
Vegemite starts life (or, at least it used to before Kraft got their
hands on it) in the right place - a brewery..... <g>

Again, Not really, when you consider it's got to be spread,
heavily, over face, hands, arms, hair, shirt, plate, cup, high chair,
table, walls and floor - and that's before it gets to your mouth.....

Hey Bruce,

Speaking of a brewery, is it tru that you have a phone jack & ethernet
connection through to the pub next door?

That Kurobox is most likely something Jon Kristofferson put together.
