Default Apache & FlashConnect - 04-12-2006 , 09:43 AM

Hi Folks

Hopefully someone out there has some ideas for me.
I have 2 x domains on a server the second of which is setup as a virtual
host (both have the same dns ip address). My main domain uses FlashConnect &
the other one does not. If I change my httpd.conf file Directory Index entry
to look for index.htm then my second domain works, howver my main doamin
using FC does not. If I add an entry to use fccgi?w3exec then my main doain
works but my second one them tries to load the index page from my main
domain. Anybody got any thoughts on this.

As always many Thanks chris (AT) openit (DOT) co.za

hmmm, you can usually put mulitple filenames in the DirectoryIndex
directive. For example:

DirectoryIndex index.htm fccgi?w3exec

Maybe try dropping the ?w3exec part of that since its a URL argument
and not a file name like fccgi. Not sure if that makes a difference
though.

hth,

Tedd

Hi Chris, long time bud: I dunno if that's a typo but did you really
mean to say fccgi?w3exec, or did you mean "fccgi.exe". I'm not sure
what you're trying to accomplish by putting that into DirectoryIndex,
or how much of the line that you want to put in there:
"fccgi.exe?w3exec=" ?

I think I completely misunderstand your situation so please feel free
to ignore this if the above isn't helpful - no need to explain on my
account.

Regards,
T
BTW, you're just asking for spam by publishing email addresses like
this. :^\

Hi Tony/Glen/Tedd

Thanks for the feedback. After a few days of wondering what the hell was
going on & then finding my glasses I realised that there is a vast
difference between deafult & default.Oh well sh1t happens I guess. Hope you
are all well.

Cheers
