Hi, I've upgraded my WinME client to Win 2000 Pro and I can no longer connect to my AP/Pro system. I've listed as many of the specifics as I can think of below. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott AP Pro release: 6.1.25.PRO10 PicLan release 2.0.0.3 Win2000 Pro v 5.00.2195 -- I bought it about 2 years ago and never installed it. I've loaded no service packs I've been using the Ethernet-II frame type for years and yet the PL-SETUP program now indicates that this is invalid. Exact error is "Invalid Ethernet frame type in PL-CFG.INI". I figure this has something to do with the W2K network configuration, about which I must admit I am not familiar. However, I am very familiar with the Win98 variety network setup. I can't seem to find the screen in W2K where you check the frame type for the IPX protocol for my Ethernet card. Interestingly, PL-STATW program initially indicates that "no PL-DEV clients" are in use and the scan for servers turns up none. Yet when I click on "refresh" ...it notes PL-DEV client #1, start 28417, and PLCBs 1, while at the same time indicating "Error Getting Server Information (PLAN) No available PLCB" The PicLan Status Display indicates the following information: This Workstation: ------------------ Driver version 2.0.0.3 IPX Net 00000000 IPX Node 0000861889D4 IPX Socket 4010 Workstation name (null) Driver Information: ------------------- Driver type Win32 Timeout 500ms |
