Great info so far folks, please keep new info coming.
Note some differences in the responses we're seeing - this is why I
was confused by a couple of these.

If possible, please clarify if you know if there are any sites still
actively developing with the software or if the products are now
"stable" and no longer being changed for ongoing business. For
example, would we ever see a Help Wanted ad for a site using this
software, or would anyone cite one of these products in hopes that it
would help them to get a job or contract gig?

Dawn, it looks like you have a couple more possible entries for the
tree.

Thanks again !

was/is a multivalue product. I thought it was a competitor for

years.

Patrick, <;=)

Patrick is probably right on this one.
As I recall (and I could be wrong), pcVerse was "published" by
WordMark International by their (at that time) technical team.
The product was a "spinoff" of UniVerse intended to run on PC's.
I have pcVerse on the poster by a company called Profile. I don't
recall more details, but had a bit more info in my notes IIRC. It
sounds right that this company either became WordMark or else the
product went there, but I'd have to dig around to get that info while
others might recall. --dawn

A unique license was necessary for each PC. But it could access/share
network files. Maybe Multiverse was the multi-user version? I'm not
sure Multiverse ever shipped.
I found something about MultiVerse in my previous research, but didn't
find anyone who had used it or enough info to warrant including it on
the chart.

It is great to know someone who used this flavor of Pick. What was the
name of the company who wrote MultiVerse at the time you loaded it?
Thanks. --dawn

pcVerse is there, but it would be good to know if MultiVerse was a real
product ever used in a production app. Are there others in there that
you think are Pick OS/DB products compared to apps? Thanks a bunch!

Oops. Sorry. Installed pcVerse on the laptop circa 1997-98. Not
Multiverse.

My already suspect memory agrees with others that Multiverse was
planned server based package.

And that Profile was a small company that was paid to convert the unix
engine to 32 bit windows.
