You need a "compressed pseudo floppy" device, which will automatically
cascade to -1, -2, etc.

Either modify pick0, e.g.

tape /dev/fd0H1440 500 f lq # tape 0

# these are compressed pseudo floppies that cascade at 2GB
tape /backups/filesave1 2000000 p lx # 1
tape /backups/filesave2 2000000 p lx # 2

# this is a regular non-compressed non-cascading pseudo floppy
tape /backups/pickfile 500 f lx # 3

tape /usr/lib/pick/ab 500 p lx # 4
tape /usr/lib/pick/dt 500 p lx # 5

Note that the "cascade" size is before compression, so the actual files
usually end up as 500-700K each.
Changing my pseudo-floppies from 500 p lx to 2000000 p lx worked
perfectly. It cascaded to a second tape. Backed up and verified
5.5gb total in 40mins. Very nice. Thanks.
